About the Role

You will prepare and coordinate data hall layouts and mechanical and electrical drawings, including cabinet arrangements, aisle layouts, busway routing, cable routing, cooling equipment, and interfaces. You will coordinate power distribution requirements, contractors, vendors, site works, construction progress, technical issues, and drawing updates.

Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, ACMV/HVAC, Building Services Engineering, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Understanding of data center power distribution or cooling architecture
  • Familiarity with cabinet power requirements, busway systems, cable sizing, tap-off boxes, LV distribution, switchgear, and UPS
  • Knowledge of air-cooled and liquid-cooled server power and cooling requirements
  • 3 years of drafting experience using AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, or relevant engineering drafting tools
  • 1 year of site management, construction coordination, or project execution experience with an electrical or ACMV/HVAC subcontractor
  • Ability to prepare, revise, and coordinate M&E drawings
  • Ability to coordinate contractors and supervise on-site work
  • Ability to travel for on-site work

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and update data hall layout drawings
  • Develop cabinet arrangements, hot and cold aisle layouts, equipment clearances, maintenance access, and expansion space
  • Prepare and maintain M&E drawings
  • Coordinate equipment layouts, busway routes, cable routes, cooling layouts, and interface drawings
  • Align drawings with site conditions, client requirements, contractor requirements, and project plans
  • Identify discrepancies between drawings and site conditions
  • Select cable sizes and busway capacity based on cabinet power requirements
  • Coordinate technical requirements with electrical subcontractors and vendors
  • Coordinate data hall site works among contractors, clients, consultants, and subcontractors
  • Track site progress, drawing clarifications, interface issues, installation conflicts, and site changes
  • Attend technical and construction coordination meetings
  • Prepare issue lists and track action items
  • Support construction management and verify implementation against drawings and schedules
