About the Role
You will design, test, and validate electrical systems for robotic factory equipment. You will select and integrate components, create schematics and harness designs, troubleshoot field and factory issues, collaborate on system integration, and scale designs into manufacturing and deployment.
Requirements
- Electrical engineering experience with hands-on power systems, control systems, and industrial automation skills
- Ability to read and create electrical schematics, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams
- Proficiency with CAD tools for electrical design
- Experience specifying and integrating motors, drives, sensors, relays, and PLCs
- Knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards
- Startup environment experience
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work 4-5 days per week from the San Leandro HQ
Responsibilities
- Design, test, and validate power distribution, control circuits, and signal-conditioning systems
- Select and integrate motors, sensors, actuators, PLCs, and other electrical components
- Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and harness designs
- Establish electrical documentation standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot electrical issues in factory and field deployments
- Collaborate with mechanical and software teams on system integration
- Scale electrical systems from design through manufacturing and deployment
