About the Role
You will define how client platforms are architected and integrated across systems, data environments, and Blockstream infrastructure. You will translate solution strategies into production-ready platform implementations, design API and data architectures, establish integration frameworks, guide engineering teams on DevOps and CI/CD, and make system-level integration decisions to ensure scalable, testable, and reliable production systems.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in platform architecture, enterprise integration, or large-scale system implementation
- Proven experience designing and delivering complex multi-system platforms in banking, fintech, or enterprise environments
- Expertise in API-first architecture
- Experience with microservice and event-driven systems
- Experience with enterprise data platforms and data integration
- Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
- Ability to translate high-level solution architectures into executable platform designs
- Experience collaborating with industry/domain leaders and client-facing architects
- Strong understanding of system interoperability, integration patterns, and distributed system design
- Languages: German or Swiss German and English required
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and integration of multi-system client platforms
- Partner with industry and solution leads to translate strategy into platform designs
- Define and own platform integration strategy including API architecture and system connectivity
- Design data flows, data models, event-driven architectures, and platform orchestration
- Establish and govern integration frameworks and reusable patterns
- Design interactions between APIs, data pipelines, platform services, and AI capabilities
- Guide engineering teams on DevOps, CI/CD, system integration, testing, scalability, and performance
- Act as senior authority for cross-platform dependencies, integration decisions, and system-level trade-offs
- Ensure alignment between solution architecture and technical delivery
