About the Role
This role defines how client platforms are architected, integrated, and delivered across systems, data environments, and Blockstream infrastructure. It translates solution strategies into production-ready implementations and ensures architectural designs are executable, interoperable, scalable, testable, and aligned with enterprise integration standards.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in platform architecture, enterprise integration, or large-scale system implementation.
- Experience designing and delivering complex multi-system platforms in banking, fintech, or enterprise environments.
- Expertise in API-first architecture, microservices, event-driven systems, enterprise data platforms, and data integration.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure; AWS preferred.
- Ability to translate high-level solution architectures into executable platform designs.
- Experience collaborating with industry or domain leaders and client-facing architects.
- Strong understanding of system interoperability, integration patterns, and distributed system design.
- German or Swiss German and English required; French and/or Italian is a plus.
- Location in Switzerland, with Zurich or Zug preferred.
- Knowledge of Bitcoin and blockchain technologies is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and integration of multi-system client platforms.
- Partner with industry, solution, and delivery leaders to translate strategies into platform designs.
- Define and own platform integration strategy, including APIs, data flows, data models, orchestration, and event-driven systems.
- Design interactions between APIs, data pipelines, platform services, and AI-enabled capabilities.
- Establish and govern reusable integration frameworks and patterns.
- Guide engineering teams on DevOps, CI/CD, deployment, testing, scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Act as senior authority for cross-platform dependencies, integration decisions, and system-level trade-offs.
- Ensure alignment between solution architecture and technical delivery.
