About the Role
You will own technical revenue-accounting positions and lead accounting decisions for new products, non-standard deals, and partnership arrangements. You will conduct technical research, guide stakeholders, review close activities, and lead revenue-system implementation and process-improvement projects.
Requirements
- Experience authoring technical accounting memos for complex revenue arrangements
- Knowledge of ASC 606 revenue-recognition analysis
- Experience with revenue-recognition tools such as Workday Financial Management or Zuora RevPro
- SQL proficiency
- Ability to lead cross-functional workstreams
- Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
Responsibilities
- Author and review ASC 606 technical accounting memos
- Lead technical revenue assessments for new products and programs
- Provide revenue-recognition guidance for non-standard commercial arrangements
- Guide accounting for partnership and marketplace arrangements
- Own SSP analysis, credit amortization, incentives, rebates, and disclosures
- Own the revenue contract-review framework
- Lead technical research and present recommendations to the Controller
- Translate technical accounting requirements into business guidance
- Review revenue-related close journal entries and flux analysis
- Lead revenue-system implementation and process-improvement projects
