About the Role
You will lead logical deployment after racks are energized, coordinating asset data, connectivity, network fabric, control-plane and fleet bring-up, GPU validation, and customer handoff. You will lead specialists, manage dependencies and schedules, define deployment standards, and automate bring-up and reporting.
Requirements
- 12+ years in hyperscale infrastructure, cloud platforms, or large-scale HPC delivery.
- 5+ years leading teams.
- Experience delivering large GPU or HPC clusters through network and platform bring-up, validation, and customer acceptance.
- Knowledge of data center networking, front-end and back-end fabrics, InfiniBand or RoCE, and management networks.
- Knowledge of provisioning, control planes, fleet management, and asset systems such as NetBox.
- Experience driving cross-functional engineering commitments and integrated schedules.
- Ability to travel about 50%.
Responsibilities
- Own integrated logical schedules from asset-data lock through customer handoff.
- Maintain accurate asset and inventory data in NetBox.
- Drive edge, out-of-band, management, and bootstrap connectivity readiness.
- Sequence service, control-plane, and fleet bring-up across engineering teams.
- Drive front-end and back-end network fabric deployment.
- Resolve and escalate fabric, configuration, and connectivity blockers.
- Own GPU enrollment, validation, fleet-manager ingestion, and provisioning.
- Lead acceptance validation and close defects with engineering and OEM partners.
- Prepare complete handoff documentation, runbooks, and open-issue lists.
- Lead, hire, and develop program managers and technical specialists.
- Define the logical deployment playbook and automate bring-up, validation, and reporting.
- Report status and risks to senior leadership.
