About the Role

You lead the architectural vision for the software stack of an ML accelerator. You define architecture processes, manage technical and project-level risks, advocate for usability, align engineering and product stakeholders, communicate architectural trade-offs, mentor the architecture team, and monitor developments in the ML and software ecosystem.

• Experience with firmware, drivers, ML frameworks, collectives, HPC, tooling, C, C++, or CPU architectures
• Previous architecture experience

Responsibilities

• Communicate the long-term technical vision and strategy for software architecture
• Define processes and procedures for establishing and maintaining software architecture
• Advocate for the long-term technical vision across the organisation
• Advocate for user experience in the software architecture
• Manage technical and project-level architectural risks
• Align business goals and architectural vision with engineering, product, leadership, partners, and customers
• Inspire, mentor, and develop the software architecture team
• Communicate trade-offs for company-wide architectural decisions
• Monitor trends and developments in the ML and software ecosystem
