About the Role
You will lead the architectural vision and strategy for the software stack supporting ML accelerators. You will define and maintain architecture processes, communicate decisions and trade-offs, manage technical risks, align engineering and product stakeholders, and mentor the software architecture team.
Requirements
- Proven leadership experience
- Experience working with silicon and hardware teams
- Technical expertise in ML accelerator software
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Collaboration and influencing skills
- Decision-making focused on trade-offs and implications
- Experience with firmware, drivers, ML frameworks, collectives, HPC, tooling, C, C++, or CPU architectures
- Right to work in the UK
Responsibilities
- Communicate the long-term technical vision and strategy for software architecture
- Define processes and procedures for maintaining the software architecture
- Advocate for the long-term technical vision across the organisation
- Advocate for a user-friendly software stack
- Manage technical and project-level architectural risks
- Align engineering, product, leadership, and partners with the architectural vision
- Inspire, mentor, and develop the software architecture team
- Communicate trade-offs in company-wide architectural decisions
- Monitor ML and software ecosystem trends
