About the Role
You will lead revenue accounting and accounts receivable operations, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and month-end close activities. You will manage reconciliations, CECL analysis, audits, reporting, systems initiatives, documentation, and the development of accounting professionals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in public accounting
- Knowledge of ASC 606 and ASC 326
- Experience with accounts receivable accounting and financial reporting
- Experience influencing change across departments
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience managing and mentoring accounting professionals
Responsibilities
- Manage revenue accounting operations and revenue recognition under ASC 606
- Own the month-end revenue close process
- Manage accounts receivable accounting functions
- Lead quarterly CECL aging analysis and develop AR metrics
- Perform flux analysis for revenue and accounts receivable
- Collaborate with finance and business partners
- Support revenue-accounting system initiatives
- Serve as subject-matter expert for revenue and AR accounting
- Lead audit coordination with external auditors
- Maintain revenue and AR process documentation
