About the Role
You will own the strategic roadmap and execution for launching a US regulated derivatives business. You will define product requirements for futures and options, guide regulatory approval efforts, hire and mentor product staff, and oversee product lifecycle from concept through launch, liquidity acquisition and maturity. You will work cross-functionally with Legal, Compliance, Engineering, Quantitative Research, Risk, Operations and Sales to implement clearing workflows, margin methodologies, matching and risk engines, APIs and reporting infrastructure. You will set product success metrics, adjust strategy based on data and market feedback, represent the product to regulators and key clients, and champion product management best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Economics or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
- 10+ years of product management or relevant leadership experience in financial services with focus on derivatives trading and market structure
- Proven experience launching exchanges, clearinghouses or complex financial products in a regulated US environment
- Deep understanding of CFTC regulations and operational requirements for FCM, DCM and DCO
- Track record managing and developing product teams and aligning cross-functional stakeholders
- Ability to engage with engineering on matching engine logic, API design and risk engine architecture
- Executive-level communication skills and experience presenting to C-Suite and boards
- Comfortable representing product externally and working in a dynamic, distributed organization

- Define end-to-end product strategy for the US market
- Hire, mentor and lead a high-performing product team
- Partner with Legal, Compliance and Executive Leadership to navigate CFTC application and approval
- Oversee full lifecycle of US derivative products from concept to launch and maturity
- Lead collaboration across Engineering, Quantitative Research, Risk, Operations and Sales
- Define product success metrics and adjust strategy based on data
- Represent the product to regulators, institutional clients and strategic partners
- Support and champion Product Management best practices and documentation
