About the Role
You will build the operations and maintenance organization, define its operating model, and lead commissioning readiness. You will oversee safe and reliable generation, microgrid, and data-center operations; develop maintenance and asset-management strategies; manage OEM agreements; and ensure regulatory compliance and performance reporting.
Requirements
- 15+ years of operations leadership experience in gas-fired power generation, hyperscale data centers, or comparable critical infrastructure
- Experience commissioning and starting greenfield generation or data-center assets
- Senior leadership experience managing 100+ person operations organizations
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline
- Ability to be based in or near Point Pleasant, West Virginia
Responsibilities
- Define the operating model, staffing plan, roles, and competency requirements
- Recruit, hire, and develop operations, maintenance, engineering, EHS, and support functions
- Establish training and qualification programs
- Lead commissioning and start-up operations workstreams
- Develop operating procedures, maintenance procedures, emergency response plans, and management systems
- Drive systems handover and final acceptance
- Own safe daily operation of generation, microgrid, and data-center facilities
- Establish safety, reliability, availability, heat-rate, and cost indicators
- Develop reliability-centered maintenance strategy
- Manage OEM service agreements
- Own CMMS, spare-parts strategy, and asset-lifecycle planning
- Ensure regulatory compliance and report operational performance
