Lead financial strategy, planning, budgeting, forecasting, accounting operations, reporting, cash flow, capital allocation, treasury functions, audits, tax filings, regulatory reporting, financial systems, growth opportunity analysis, and a finance and accounting team.
Requirements
- 10-15 years of progressive finance experience focused on high-tech startups
- Significant experience in high-tech startup environments
- Proven success in a senior finance leadership role
- Expertise in technical accounting, financial modeling, budgeting, and reporting
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP and corporate accounting principles
- Experience managing audits, compliance, and regulatory reporting
- Hands-on approach to finance and accounting processes
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Experience in hardware companies preferred
- CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies
- Lead long-term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Provide insights for business decisions and profitability
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll operations
- Ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with GAAP
- Coordinate audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting
- Manage cash flow, capital allocation, and treasury functions
- Optimize financial systems and processes
- Evaluate and execute growth opportunities including potential mergers and acquisitions
- Mentor and manage the finance and accounting team
