About the Role

You will oversee capital-project finances from groundbreaking through operations. You will manage budgets, cost controls, financing compliance, contracts, portfolio reporting, asset handoffs, operating budgets, performance metrics, and capital plans for data center facilities.

Requirements

8+ years of construction finance, project controls, capital projects accounting, or project finance experience
Experience managing construction budgets, cost reporting, and draw processes for large capital projects
Familiarity with construction loan agreements, funding mechanics, and lender requirements
Knowledge of GC/EPC contracts, change orders, and construction risk allocation
Experience managing operating budgets and cost performance for live facilities
Financial modeling and cost-tracking skills
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects or sites
Cross-functional collaboration with construction, operations, lenders, and finance teams
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, construction management, engineering, or a related field

Responsibilities

Own construction budgets and total installed cost estimates
Track budget-to-actual performance and escalate variances and change orders
Ensure construction spending complies with financing agreements and covenants
Forecast funding needs across concurrent projects
Support financial reviews of construction, EPC, and equipment contracts
Maintain portfolio-level cost, schedule, and funding reporting
Manage financial handoffs from construction to operations
Oversee operating budgets and cost performance for energized data centers
Track operating costs and identify efficiency opportunities
Support reporting on operational performance metrics
Incorporate operating-site capital needs into portfolio planning
Provide cost and funding analysis for boards, lenders, and investors
