About the Role
You will lead finance, operations, human resources, vendor management, compliance, and organizational systems. You will strengthen project-management practices, oversee financial reporting and budgeting, support the Board, and ensure reliable day-to-day execution across the organization.
Requirements
- 7+ years building and running operational infrastructure
- Financial management, budgeting, audit, and board-reporting capability
- Knowledge of GAAP and experience with grant management and restricted-fund accounting
- People-management experience and working knowledge of employment law
- Project-management experience across teams
- Vendor, contractor, procurement, and contract-oversight experience
- Familiarity with QuickBooks, Paylocity, Microsoft Office, or Google Workspace
- Authorization to work full-time in the United States
Responsibilities
- Design and improve operational systems, workflows, tools, procedures, and playbooks
- Oversee accounting, budgeting, audits, tax filings, internal controls, and financial risk management
- Deliver financial reporting, dashboards, analysis, and modeling to leadership and the Board
- Lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compensation, benefits, and HR policies
- Build organization-wide project-management practices and coordinate cross-functional initiatives
- Manage vendors, contractors, procurement, facilities projects, and end-user IT providers
- Maintain insurance, legal compliance, registrations, filings, and contract administration
- Lead Board Finance Committee and Investment Management Committee support
