About the Role

You will lead the Platform Engineering organization and set its engineering strategy and technical vision. You will guide infrastructure, reliability, performance, release, and internal-tooling decisions; grow managers and senior engineers; and establish resilient operational practices. You will oversee cloud, network, security, and production-health systems while ensuring scalable, secure, reliable infrastructure.

Requirements

Experience managing engineering managers or leading a multi-team engineering organization
Deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and security architecture
Experience operating and scaling highly available, high-performance, security-focused infrastructure
Software quality and engineering-process expertise

Responsibilities

Own the engineering strategy and technical vision for Platform Engineering
Build, manage, and grow the engineering organization
Partner with Product Engineering and leadership on platform investments
Evaluate distributed-systems and cloud-infrastructure technologies
Define organizational structure, leveling, and career paths
Drive recruitment, onboarding, and retention of engineering talent
Set engineering rituals including on-call, incident reviews, and capacity planning
Coach managers and senior engineers
Provide technical guidance across foundational systems
Oversee cloud, network, security, and operational infrastructure
Ensure infrastructure scalability, security, and reliability
Drive security reviews, capacity planning, testing, and incident-response processes
