About the Role
You will own engineering execution, planning, prioritization, delivery, reliability, hiring, and standards. You will establish operational processes, lead reliability improvements and evaluation systems, improve AI-enabled engineering practices, review code, and make architecture decisions.
Requirements
- Experience leading a 10-30 person engineering organization at a startup
- Strong software engineering experience
- Experience establishing engineering processes
- Experience owning customer-visible production systems
- Experience with AI-enabled engineering workflows
Responsibilities
- Own engineering execution, planning, prioritization, and delivery
- Build operating processes for on-call, CI, code reviews, handoffs, incident response, and reviews
- Drive production reliability and build evaluation and self-improvement infrastructure
- Advance agentic development, AI code review, and internal engineering tooling
- Own engineering hiring and onboarding
- Review code and make architecture decisions
