About the Role

Oversee global payroll operations, strategy, automation, implementations, team leadership, cross-functional partnerships, compliance, tax, reporting, and risk management across 18 countries.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive payroll leadership across multi-state US and international payroll
  • Experience leading globally dispersed teams of 5+ employees
  • Strong operational, problem-solving, and workstream management capabilities
  • CPP designation or equivalent global certification preferred
  • Expertise interpreting local and international payroll rules and regulations
  • Understanding of statutory deductions, tax rates, social security, and benefits regulations across EMEA, APAC, and North America
  • Proficiency with UKG and CloudPay; familiarity with Smartsheets, Google Sheets, and AI-enabled tools
  • Public company equity experience, including RSUs and ESPP, and SOX control awareness

Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end global payroll operations across all entities
  • Manage payroll managed services partners, including SLAs, KPIs, escalations, and business reviews
  • Develop global payroll strategy and automation roadmap
  • Lead payroll implementations, geographic expansion, EOR management, and M&A integration
  • Lead and develop a globally dispersed payroll team
  • Partner with Accounting, Treasury, HR, Equity Administration, Tax, and Legal
  • Oversee complex compensation, payroll tax, statutory compliance, audits, and year-end reporting
  • Maintain internal controls and mitigate payroll-related risks
