About the Role
You will own cash-flow reporting, subsidiary and compliance reporting, accounting-standard adoption, stock-based compensation reporting, and financial disclosures. You will build AI-powered reporting workflows, maintain controls and documentation, and work with auditors and internal accounting, tax, legal, and finance partners.
Requirements
- Experience owning statements of cash flows, including ASC 230 classification and audit support
- Experience with subsidiary, statutory, or compliance-related reporting
- Experience using Claude or similar AI tools for financial reporting workflows or automation
- Knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, including Regulations S-X and S-K
- Ability to explain accounting topics to non-accounting partners
- Ability to own ambiguous work and meet filing deadlines
Responsibilities
- Own the consolidated statement of cash flows
- Lead subsidiary and compliance-related reporting
- Lead adoption of new accounting standards
- Lead stock-based compensation reporting
- Prepare and review SEC filings and disclosures
- Conduct peer disclosure benchmarking
- Partner on purchase accounting and post-close reporting
- Identify automation opportunities for reporting processes
- Build and maintain Claude-powered reporting workflows
- Maintain process documentation and controls
- Serve as an auditor contact for assigned reporting areas
