About the Role
Source, evaluate, and back early-stage investment opportunities in companies and protocols; analyze emerging technology and crypto market trends; structure financing rounds; manage due diligence and investment processes; help build and scale the investing team; and travel as necessary to meetings and conferences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in crypto or early-stage venture capital firms
- Strong understanding of venture capital and crypto deal terms
- Native understanding of crypto and blockchain technologies
- Deep network within crypto
- Strong written communication and public speaking skills
- Ability to perform venture capital valuation and total addressable market analysis
- Research skills and intense intellectual curiosity about decentralized systems
Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate early-stage investment opportunities
- Develop and track trends in emerging technology and crypto markets
- Structure financing rounds with company leadership
- Manage due diligence activities and complete investment processes
- Build, support, and scale the investing team
