About the Role
You will lead valuation analyses for private investments and illiquid instruments. You will build financial models, perform quarterly and event-driven valuations, prepare committee and audit documentation, support financial reporting, advise on complex structures, and strengthen valuation controls and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 10+ years of relevant valuation, financial modeling, investment banking, or private equity and venture capital experience
- Private company or illiquid investment valuation experience
- Financial modeling expertise
- Knowledge of US GAAP ASC 820
- Experience presenting conclusions to committees, auditors, or senior stakeholders
- Advanced Excel proficiency
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain valuation models
- Perform quarterly and event-driven valuations
- Develop valuation methodologies
- Prepare valuation memos and supporting documentation
- Support financial statement and SEC disclosure reporting
- Respond to external auditor requests
- Assess valuation impacts of investment events
- Advise on complex investment structures
- Maintain SOX controls over valuation processes
- Improve valuation templates and market-data practices
