About the Role
Oversee the technical design and permitting of AI-optimized data centers across Europe. Manage design from concept through construction drawings, coordinate internal and external partners, review design packages for compliance and constructability, adapt facilities for advanced compute infrastructure, and maintain schedules and BIM-based documentation.
Requirements
- 6+ years of design or design-management experience
- Mechanical or electrical design background
- Experience delivering permits across European jurisdictions
- Knowledge of MEP systems, high-density power, and AI compute infrastructure
- English fluency
- Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, and BIM-based workflows
Responsibilities
- Manage data center and infrastructure design from concept development through construction drawings
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external design consultants
- Oversee permitting processes across European jurisdictions
- Coordinate local consultants and public authorities to secure approvals
- Design facilities for advanced compute clusters, high-power infrastructure, and liquid cooling
- Manage design deliverables and consultant teams
- Review design packages for compliance, constructability, and performance
- Identify risks and implement design changes
- Maintain project schedules, deliverable tracking, and BIM documentation workflows
