About the Role
You will manage customer engagements with banks and financial institutions from discovery through investigation, solution design, deployment, enablement, and ongoing value delivery. You will develop custom workflows and analytical tools, advise financial services customers on investigative and compliance objectives, lead training and workshops, support strategic opportunities, and build long-term customer capability. Japanese fluency is required.
Requirements
- Professional experience working directly with banks financial institutions or other financial services organizations
- Fluency in spoken and written Japanese
- Experience conducting or directly supporting cryptocurrency investigations blockchain intelligence financial crime analysis AML compliance fraud or related operational work
- Strong understanding of financial crime compliance risk investigations and digital asset exposure in banking
- Deep familiarity with BTC ETH stablecoins DeFi and on-chain data
- Experience delivering customer-facing technical solutions in complex real-world environments
- Ability to build insights from large or complex datasets and communicate findings to analysts and senior banking executives
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced ambiguous environments
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience building notebooks dashboards and analytical workflows
- Understanding of data modelling querying and large datasets
- Ability to develop expertise in Chainalysis data structures schemas and products
- Experience in AML financial crime investigations fraud sanctions compliance risk cybercrime or digital asset compliance
- Understanding of banking workflows regulatory environments risk frameworks and stakeholder structures
- Ability to apply financial services expertise to investigations solution design and customer advisory
- Ability to build trusted long-term customer relationships through technical and domain credibility
- Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience leading customer sessions workshops training and technical working groups
- Experience enabling and upskilling customer teams
- Ability to communicate with senior banking compliance risk AML and financial crime stakeholders
