About the Role

You will sit at the intersection of engineering and customer success, splitting your time between leading technical deployments and building bespoke solutions for top-tier clients. You'll design and ship pragmatic solutions using whatever tools get the job done, from existing systems and APIs to AI tooling and custom code. You'll often be the first to tackle a new challenge, with real freedom in how you solve it, and the best of what you build may get absorbed into the core product. You'll own the end-to-end technical deployment of ScorePlay for the company's largest new clients, from kickoff through go-live, configuring and adapting the platform to each client's workflows including APIs, SSO, cloud storage, broadcast partners, and on-prem or hybrid setups. You'll operate and monitor media ingest and archive migrations, and act as the client's primary technical contact when troubleshooting issues. You'll build trusted relationships with client technical teams, run technical workshops on architecture and workflows, and occasionally travel for kickoffs and key deployments. You'll also partner daily with the Delivery, Customer Success, Pre-Sales, Product and Engineering teams to scope work, validate feasibility, and bring structured feedback from the field back into the product.

Requirements

  • A real software engineering foundation with ability to code in Python JavaScript or similar
  • Experience in a technical client-facing role such as deployment implementation solutions engineering professional services or software engineering in a B2B/SaaS context
  • Strong fluency with today's AI tooling with ability to prototype and build with AI naturally
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS GCP or Azure and a solid grasp of networking and security basics
  • Resourceful and autonomous problem-solving with comfort juggling multiple projects with incomplete information
  • Excellent communication in English with both technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

  • Take on client-specific technical challenges that call for creative bespoke solutions beyond standard configuration
  • Design and ship pragmatic solutions using existing tools APIs AI tooling and custom code
  • Pioneer new territory as the first to tackle a challenge
  • Work with Engineering to absorb the best solutions into the product
  • Own the end-to-end technical deployment of ScorePlay for the largest new clients from kickoff through go-live
  • Configure integrate and adapt ScorePlay to client workflows including APIs SSO cloud storage broadcast partners and on-prem and hybrid setups
  • Operate and monitor media ingest and archive migrations
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during onboarding as the client's primary technical contact
  • Build trusted relationships with client technical teams including IT broadcast media and integrators
  • Run technical workshops to align on architecture workflows and constraints
  • Travel occasionally for kickoffs and key deployments alongside Customer Success
  • Translate customer needs into clear technical requirements for internal teams
  • Work daily with the Delivery team and closely with Customer Success on scoping onboarding and handover
  • Collaborate with Pre-Sales to validate feasibility of what's being sold and prepare complex deployments
  • Bring structured feedback from the field to Product and Tech
  • Help build the playbook including standard steps documentation templates and process improvements
