About the Role
You will work directly with deal teams in the EMEA market, supporting the investment process from origination to execution. This role offers you a significant opportunity to kick-start your career in Private Equity, with potential progression to Associate roles in major hubs globally. You'll be staffed on end-to-end deal processes, collaborating with global investment teams as an active day-to-day member. You'll assist in origination tasks such as market mapping, competitor analyses, and company profiling, and engage in deal assessment through industry deep-dives, peer benchmarking, and market sizing. You'll perform financial analysis, build valuation models, and prepare presentations and reports for investment committees, portfolio performance reviews, and external stakeholders like advising banks. You'll actively participate in transactions, contribute to project management and investment strategy, and support portfolio monitoring through KPI tracking and benchmarking. You'll also take part in the Analyst Program training and help mentor later intakes.
Requirements
- MBA or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of relevant deal experience in Investment Banking or related financial services
- Strong analytical skills and interest in finance and valuation principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities
- Work as an active day-to-day member of end-to-end deal teams
- Assist in deal origination through market mapping, competitor analyses, and company profiling
- Conduct industry deep-dives and peer benchmarking for deal assessment
- Size Total Addressable Market (TAM) and Serviceable Available Market (SAM)
- Perform financial analysis and develop valuation models
- Prepare presentations and reports for investment committees and external stakeholders
- Contribute to project management and investment strategy during transactions
- Support portfolio monitoring through KPI tracking and portfolio benchmarking
- Aid further M&A activities
- Participate in the Analyst Program training and mentor later intakes
