About the Role
You will join General Atlantic's Mexico Investment team, gaining exposure to all parts of the investment process. You'll build financial models and perform financial analysis to support due diligence and portfolio value creation, draft investment memoranda and presentations for the Investment Committee, and work closely with MDs and VPs alongside management teams to support portfolio companies. You'll also help research and identify investment themes and potential targets through in-depth industry research, and conduct proprietary research through calls with industry contacts, consultants, and other relevant parties.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2-4 years of relevant experience (e.g. Investment Banking and Private Equity preferred. Consulting or Operations in addition to Investment Banking will also be considered.)
- Passionate about discovering interesting transformational up-and-coming high-growth companies
- Inquisitive personality with a strong understanding of accounting principles
- Superior financial modeling skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Proactive, entrepreneurial attitude with eagerness to take on special projects
- Strong analytical abilities, creativity, thoughtful business judgment and professional maturity
- Record of outstanding professional and academic achievement
- High energy level, strong communication skills, intellectual curiosity, and a passion for investing
- Desire to collaborate with colleagues throughout the firm globally
Responsibilities
