About the Role
You will set the data science agenda for Model Experience and lead a team of data scientists. You will shape roadmaps and launch decisions, define success metrics and measurement frameworks, lead high-stakes analyses, establish experimentation standards, communicate recommendations to leadership, and build analytics practices and infrastructure.
Requirements
- Extensive data science experience supporting a product or research area at scale
- 3+ years managing data science teams
- Experience partnering with senior product, research, and business leaders
- Product sense and business judgment
- Expertise in experimental design, causal inference, and statistical modeling
- Python and SQL fluency
- Written and presentation communication skills
Responsibilities
- Partner with product, engineering, and research leaders on roadmaps and launches
- Set the data science agenda for Model Experience
- Hire, manage, and develop data scientists
- Frame ambiguous questions and make recommendations
- Define metrics and measurement frameworks
- Set experimentation and causal-inference standards
- Lead high-stakes analyses
- Communicate analyses and recommendations to senior leadership
- Establish data practices and analytics infrastructure
