About the Role
You will lead the architecture, design, and delivery of scalable data products and pipelines. You will define technical strategy for batch and real-time platforms, advance engineering practices, improve reliability and cost efficiency, resolve complex incidents, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex data-engineering initiatives and influence technical strategy
- Deep expertise in Python, Java, Scala, SQL, Snowflake, cloud data platforms, and distributed data analytics
- Experience designing and operating high-volume batch and real-time data pipelines, orchestration solutions, transformation frameworks, and event streaming architectures
- Expertise in AWS, Microsoft Azure, containerized platforms, infrastructure automation, data governance, metadata management, lineage, and security controls
- Understanding of APIs, data modeling, data-quality frameworks, observability, performance optimization, and software-engineering practices
- Experience leading technical teams, mentoring engineers, and driving architectural decisions
- Exposure to machine learning, artificial intelligence, generative AI, and enterprise data patterns
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of scalable data products and pipelines
- Drive technical strategy for batch and real-time data ingestion, transformation, and distribution platforms
- Establish engineering best practices, reusable frameworks, automation, CI/CD, observability, and operational standards
- Partner with stakeholders to prioritize initiatives and influence roadmaps
- Improve platform scalability, reliability, resiliency, and cost efficiency
- Lead incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across teams
