About the Role
You will lead technicians responsible for facilities maintenance across assigned campus buildings, infrastructure, and grounds. You will prioritize work orders, run preventive maintenance, inspect completed work, coordinate vendors, oversee repairs and small projects, and remove operational blockers. You will coach technicians on safety, quality, and productivity while maintaining reliable building systems.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 3+ years of professional facilities maintenance or facilities management experience
- 1+ years of team or project leadership experience
- Ability to provide 24/7 on-call emergency support
- Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and non-standard schedules
- Ability to work in temperatures over 80 degrees
Responsibilities
- Lead a facilities maintenance team for an assigned campus area
- Prioritize, staff, inspect, and close work orders and preventive maintenance
- Manage third-party vendors and maintain service levels
- Oversee maintenance, repairs, and installations across buildings and grounds
- Design and execute preventive maintenance programs
- Monitor small construction and site-improvement work
- Coach maintenance technicians on safety, quality, and productivity
- Eliminate blockers and drive continuous improvement
