About the Role
You will lead global data centre facility operations, capacity management, maintenance, incident escalation, and operational governance. You will establish procedures, manage vendors and facilities teams, improve efficiency and sustainability, oversee budgets, and align physical infrastructure readiness with deployment needs.
Requirements
- 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in data center facility operations, critical environments, or physical plant management.
- At least 5 years of executive or senior leadership experience.
- Experience managing a globally distributed data centre portfolio.
- Deep knowledge of critical mechanical and electrical infrastructure.
- Experience leading geographically dispersed facilities and critical-environment teams.
- Financial and strategic planning experience with OpEx and CapEx budgets.
- Executive stakeholder-influencing, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Responsibilities
- Direct 24/7 global data centre facility operations.
- Develop and govern SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs.
- Lead critical incident escalation, root cause analysis, and preventative actions.
- Manage space, power, and cooling capacity planning.
- Optimize PUE and WUE through facility improvements.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead global facilities teams.
- Manage colocation providers, utilities, contractors, and maintenance partners.
- Define and execute global operations strategy.
- Coordinate infrastructure readiness and deployment workflows.
- Influence facility design for efficiency, reliability, and maintainability.
- Lead operational strategy across diverse data centre sites.
- Reduce facility operating costs without compromising reliability or safety.
