About the Role
You will lead energy procurement, power-market strategy, utility relationships, and regulatory engagement across Australia. You will assess grid capacity, structure commercial agreements, translate network constraints into deployment plans, and accelerate power delivery for data center infrastructure.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in energy procurement, utility development, or power markets
- Substantial exposure to the Australian energy landscape
- Expertise in the NEM, WEM, NTEM, network connections, and transmission planning
- Experience securing power capacity and negotiating connection or offtake agreements
- Ability to analyze energy markets, regulatory frameworks, and grid constraints
- Stakeholder management experience with TNSPs, DNSPs, regulators, policymakers, and vendors
- Ability to communicate complex grid and regulatory dynamics
