About the Role

You will own civil, structural, and architectural design standards for data centers. You will evaluate sites, review partner deliverables, coordinate with infrastructure disciplines, oversee construction and commissioning, and standardize repeatable designs across projects.

Requirements

10+ years delivering mission-critical facility infrastructure
At least 6 years in hyperscale or large-scale data center CSA design
Expertise in civil site development, structural design, and architectural programming
Experience as an owner's engineer or lead technical authority
Knowledge of IBC, IFC, ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC, FM Global, and local codes
Experience with high-density compute and direct liquid-cooling environments
Experience standardizing designs across multi-site portfolios
Ability to review structural calculations, site plans, and construction documents
Experience coordinating MEP and IT infrastructure disciplines

Responsibilities

Own civil, structural, and architectural reference design standards
Lead site feasibility studies and test fits
Review and approve CSA design deliverables
Coordinate CSA designs with MEP and IT infrastructure teams
Drive campus planning and construction phasing
Provide technical oversight during construction and commissioning
Develop relationships and standards for design partners and vendors
Identify prefabrication and modular construction opportunities
Manage design reviews and resolve conflicts
Travel to project sites for reviews, audits, and commissioning
