About the Role
You will serve as a strategic advisor to complex Japanese customers and help them adopt and expand Claude products. You will manage success plans, usage optimization, change-management programs, customer feedback, quarterly reviews, and Japan-specific customer-success processes.
Requirements
- Customer-facing experience in Customer Success, Consulting, Solutions Architecture, Solutions or Functional Consulting, Success Engineering, or similar roles
- Technical fluency in AI/ML concepts, API integrations, and software implementation patterns
- Experience explaining technical products to varied audiences
- Project management skills
- English and Japanese fluency
- Preferred: 6+ years of relevant experience
- Preferred: experience with consumption-based and seat-based business models
Responsibilities
- Build strategic relationships with Japanese customer decision makers
- Guide customers on API, Claude for Enterprise, and Claude Code
- Drive usage planning and identify optimization opportunities
- Monitor consumption and seat-based product usage
- Communicate product roadmaps and represent customer feedback
- Quantify customer value through business outcomes, ROI, and impact metrics
- Identify new use cases and expansion opportunities
- Develop change-management and organizational-enablement programs
- Manage account plans, success plans, and Quarterly Business Reviews
- Develop Japan-specific customer-success processes and playbooks
