About the Role
You will provide legal advice on UK cryptoasset, e-money, and payment-services requirements. You will support licensing work, corporate transactions, regulatory relationships, and regulator correspondence. You will translate regulatory frameworks into practical guidance, including requirements relating to AML/CTF, operational resilience, outsourcing, and account access.
Requirements
- Qualification as a Solicitor or Barrister of England and Wales or equivalent
- 6+ years of post-qualification experience in financial-services regulatory law

Responsibilities
- Provide legal support on cryptoasset, e-money, and payment-services regulatory requirements
- Support UK licensing and registration workstreams
- Compile licensing application materials and coordinate with outside counsel
- Support regulatory aspects of corporate transactions and structural changes
- Support relationships with regulators
- Translate regulatory frameworks into actionable business guidance
- Provide clear risk tradeoffs and recommendations
