About the Role
Support decision-making for PayPay's life insurance business through business planning, budgeting, cross-functional analysis of capital, regulation, accounting, liability valuation, and asset-liability management, executive materials, stakeholder management, and coordination with related departments and partners.
Requirements
- Approximately five or more years of practical experience in corporate planning, finance, or management analysis at a life insurance company.
- Experience preparing financial, management accounting, closing, or business planning figures for executive or external materials.
- Ability to coordinate and drive cross-functional work while maintaining deadlines and quality.
- Experience with J-GAAP or IFRS closing or business planning at a life insurance company is desirable.
- Regulatory response experience is desirable.
- Insurance accounting knowledge, preferably IFRS 17, is desirable.
- Actuarial or insurance mathematics qualification, or experience coordinating closely with actuarial functions, is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Organize life insurance issues across capital, regulation, accounting, liability valuation, and asset-liability management.
- Prepare executive decision-making materials.
- Manage auditors, partners, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure the quality of stakeholder deliverables.
- Understand affiliated-company and partner operating practices and incorporate them into PayPay's analysis.
- Coordinate issues and build consensus with accounting, finance, risk, legal, and business departments.
- Operate cross-functional meetings.
