About the Role
You will own reconciliation and reporting workstreams across payment networks banking partners processors and internal ledger data. You will build SQL-based reporting and automated controls investigate discrepancies improve data pipelines support audits and collaborate with finance engineering product and compliance stakeholders.
Requirements
- 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or 3+ years with a Master's degree or equivalent experience
- Expert SQL skills
- Experience owning reconciliation settlement or financial reporting workstreams
- Knowledge of accounting principles double-entry concepts and money movement
- Experience designing and maintaining data pipelines
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Experience with reconciliation tooling and banking portals
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience delivering process improvements and automation
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy reconciliation and reporting solutions
- Own daily weekly and monthly reconciliations
- Manage discrepancies from detection through resolution
- Define metrics for reconciliation and reporting
- Serve as a subject matter expert on settlement and money movement
- Build and document automated SQL reporting
- Design and maintain data pipelines
- Identify control gaps revenue leakage and data quality issues
- Support month-end close and audits
- Define requirements and test plans for system changes
- Mentor analysts and review code
