About the Role
You will plan, coordinate, and execute corporate events across Côte d'Ivoire, making sure every event runs smoothly and delivers a great experience for attendees. You'll manage logistics for recurring events like remote immersions, sporting events, Women's Day, and the end-of-year party, and coordinate with the office management team on travel, accommodation, and visa requirements for travellers. You'll brainstorm event concepts and themes, oversee facilities and details such as decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, and invitee lists, and lead on-site event production and day-of rollout. You'll anticipate attendee needs, troubleshoot issues as they arise, prepare event budgets, process invoices, and act as the central coordinator for employee-facing events, flagging conflicts and keeping stakeholders informed. Finally, you'll deliver post-event reports and analytics to help improve future events.
Requirements
- Strong organisational and time management skills, and the ability to prioritise
- Fluency in English and French
- Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, HR, or a related discipline
- Experience in marketing and/or public relations
- Proficient with Event Management System and registration tools for managing registration and event logistics
- Flexibility to travel both locally and internationally, as needed
- Work authorization in Côte d'Ivoire required
Responsibilities
- Manage logistics for recurring corporate conferences or events based in Côte d'Ivoire, such as remote immersions, sporting events, Women's Day, and the end-of-year party
- Coordinate with the office management team on travel, accommodation, policy updates, and visa requirements for travellers
- Brainstorm and implement event concepts and themes, managing facilities and details such as accommodation, decor, catering, entertainment, transportation, location, invitee list, special guests, equipment, and promotional material
- Lead and monitor on-site event production and day-of rollout
- Anticipate attendee needs and prepare against potential risks, troubleshooting issues on event days
- Prepare event budgets and process invoices
- Act as central coordinator for employee-facing events in Côte d'Ivoire, flagging event conflicts and keeping stakeholders informed
- Provide post-event reports and analytics on event effectiveness
