About the Role

You will oversee the daily operations of Kraken’s European E-money Institution, develop operational strategies, manage regulatory compliance and operational risks, oversee outsourcing and fraud functions, supervise technology and security, improve customer service, support strategic initiatives, and engage with senior stakeholders and the board.

Requirements

  • Eligible to work in Ireland or willing to relocate to Ireland
  • 15+ years of operational leadership experience
  • Experience in financial services or crypto-asset industry
  • Understanding of EMI, PSRs, and European regulatory frameworks
  • Leadership skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, or related field

  • Ensure compliance with EMI and PSR requirements
  • Maintain internal controls

  • Monitor outsourced provider performance
  • Oversee fraud prevention, detection, and case management
  • Supervise technology infrastructure and security
  • Improve customer service and complaint resolution
  • Support strategic initiatives

  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders
