About the Role

You will design and write product language across web, mobile, desktop, and voice experiences. You will shape flows, navigation, terminology, onboarding, notifications, errors, and in-product education. You will refine prompts and system instructions, define standards for AI-generated content, maintain voice and tone guidance, and use research and experiments to improve comprehension and task completion.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in content design, UX writing, or product design shipping software at scale
• An excellent portfolio showing how language shaped product decisions
• Strong UX fundamentals in interaction design, information architecture, usability, and accessibility
• Exceptional writing and editing skills
• Hands-on experience writing prompts, working with LLMs, and judging AI-generated content
• Experience building scalable content frameworks, style guides, or terminology
• Ability to explain content decisions and tradeoffs to designers, engineers, and leaders

Responsibilities

• Design and write in-product language across web, mobile, desktop, and voice experiences
• Shape product flows, structure, and information architecture with product designers
• Name features and products and own terminology, navigation labels, and taxonomies
• Make AI and agent behavior understandable to users
• Write and refine prompts and system instructions for AI-generated content
• Define content quality standards, evaluation criteria, datasets, and reviewer guidance
• Build and maintain voice, tone, and content guidance in the design system
• Use research, data, and experiments to improve product language
• Partner on product language, internationalization, and localization
• Review copy in code and ship small language changes
