About the Role
You will lead construction security for the Monarch campus and deliver security technology throughout project development. You will manage risks, incidents, contractors, governance, design coordination, readiness activities, and the transition to operational security.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in physical security, data center security, construction security, critical infrastructure security, or a related field
- Experience managing security programs for large-scale construction or critical infrastructure projects
- Experience working with general contractors, construction managers, security integrators, and engineering or design organizations
- Understanding of CCTV, access control, biometrics, intrusion detection, perimeter security, and security communications
- Experience developing or implementing security procedures, standards, and risk-mitigation measures
- Project and program management skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to identify security risks and drive issues to resolution
Responsibilities
- Lead construction-site security
- Oversee access control, badging, visitor management, contractor credentialing, and site controls
- Review site security plans and temporary security measures
- Monitor security requirements, risks, incidents, and corrective actions
- Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency services, government, and community stakeholders
- Coordinate security technology design, delivery, testing, commissioning, and acceptance
- Maintain the construction security risk register and project documentation
- Provide reporting on risks, incidents, deficiencies, staffing, technology deployment, and construction activity
- Establish operational procedures, post orders, access-control processes, and escalation protocols
- Support operational security hiring, onboarding, training, readiness reviews, and turnover
