About the Role
You supervise on-site construction activities for direct hires and subcontractors, ensure mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems meet schedules, budgets, building codes, and quality standards, inspect materials and deliveries, develop execution plans, coordinate testing and commissioning, and travel between project sites as needed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of field experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Expertise in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
- Understanding of industry codes and standards
- Experience overseeing large-scale base building projects
- Experience building relationships with contractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, schedules, budgets, and project details
- Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore or Primavera
Responsibilities
- Supervise on-site construction activities for direct hires and subcontractors
- Ensure MEP systems are installed on time, within budget, and in compliance with building codes
- Inspect materials, equipment, and construction and installation deliveries
- Develop and implement execution plans, schedules, and logistics
- Conduct quality control inspections
- Coordinate testing and commissioning efforts
- Travel as needed to oversee multiple project sites
