About the Role
You will create concept art and digital illustrations used across games, social channels, ads, articles and video. You will attend meetings, translate ideas into rapid rough drafts, and develop mood boards for story arcs, factions and environments. You will follow style guides, adapt to different aesthetics, brainstorm new visual approaches, and keep your skills current with new design techniques and software.
Requirements
- Compelling portfolio demonstrating aesthetic awareness and expressive drawing
- Ability to generate hand-drawn illustration concepts quickly
- Strong aesthetic and conceptual skills
- Ability to follow style guides and adapt to different styles
- Self-starter who plans and executes illustration with minimal support
- Good interpersonal skills and collaborative problem solving
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Experience with animation or motion graphics (bonus)
- Experience with 3D tools (bonus)
- Passion for video games (bonus)
- Experience with decentralized cryptographic systems and networks (bonus)
- UI design experience (bonus)
