About the Role

You will own consumer UI across a mobile app and web surfaces inside a VR app. You will take ideas from sketches through Figma and production React, build onboarding, profiles, discovery, social, chat, and spectating experiences, create a Figma and code design system, optimize performance, instrument events, run tests, and improve activation, retention, engagement, and sharing.

Requirements

• 3–6+ years building consumer web products
• Portfolio demonstrating ownership of both design and implementation
• Experience shipping mainstream consumer UX
• Experience building or optimizing viral loops, invites, referrals, sharing, UGC, social graphs, discovery, or feed surfaces
• Strong React and TypeScript skills
• Knowledge of modern HTML and CSS
• Knowledge of responsive design, animation, and accessibility
• Experience with profiling, code-splitting, asset strategy, caching, and CDN
• Ability to define problems, propose solutions, and ship
• Familiarity designing immersive or game-adjacent products

Responsibilities

• Take ambiguous ideas and player feedback from sketches through Figma to production React
• Build onboarding, identity and profile, discovery, invites and sharing, chat, and spectating surfaces
• Build user experiences that drive feedback loops for AI systems
• Identify high-leverage problems, write the plan, make decisions, and deliver
• Create a design system in Figma and code with components, tokens, and patterns
• Meet performance targets for startup time and smooth interactions across mobile and VR
• Instrument events, run lightweight tests, ship weekly iterations, and improve activation, retention, engagement, and sharing
