About the Role
You will own ongoing compliance for MiFID and MiCA activities. You will integrate MiFID II and IFR/IFD obligations into daily operations, maintain and improve AML/CFT and transaction monitoring processes, and translate legal requirements into practical internal procedures. You will support regulatory supervision, engage with regulators, review product changes before launch, and ensure policy and operational practice remain aligned. You will apply strong judgment, involve external advisers only when necessary, work proactively in a fast-changing environment, and collaborate closely with product, legal, and senior management.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in compliance or financial regulation
- Strong knowledge of MiFID II and AML/CFT processes
- Experience working with regulators
- Ability to translate regulation into practical implementation
- Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment
- Understand the gap between written policy and operational practice and be motivated to close it
- Experience with MiCA or crypto regulation (preferred)
- Familiarity with custody processes, Travel Rule, or sanctions processes (preferred)
- Experience in an environment supervised by AFM or DNB (preferred)
- Proficiency in Dutch (preferred)
