About the Role

You will support day-to-day compliance execution across AML/CFT, sanctions, customer reviews, and transaction monitoring. You will handle escalated cases, review STR/SAR matters, monitor regulatory developments, support audits, assess controls, and produce management reporting.

Requirements

  • Experience in compliance, financial crime, or AML within a regulated financial institution, EMI, PI, bank, fintech, or digital-asset business
  • Knowledge of UK and EU AML/CFT regulation, sanctions regimes, and SAR/STR obligations
  • Experience reviewing escalated KYC/KYB, EDD, or transaction-monitoring cases
  • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into policy and process
  • Risk-based judgment
  • Interest in digital assets and stablecoins within AML frameworks

Responsibilities

  • Support development and maintenance of AML/CFT, sanctions, and financial-crime policies and procedures
  • Escalate higher-risk KYC/KYB, EDD, and transaction-monitoring cases
  • Review and approve STR/SAR cases before regulatory filing
  • Monitor UK and EU AML, MiCA, CASP, and Travel Rule developments
  • Support internal and regulatory audits and respond to information requests
  • Review KYC, transaction-monitoring, and sanctions-screening controls
  • Produce compliance reporting for senior management and the Board or Risk Committee
