About the Role

You will review products, features, market expansions, and material changes for compliance risk. You will assess regulatory requirements, document recommendations and approvals, develop practical controls with stakeholders, support monitoring and remediation, and provide compliance-by-design guidance throughout the product lifecycle.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of relevant Compliance, Legal, or Risk experience in financial services, fintech, payments, or cryptocurrency
  • Hands-on product compliance, regulatory advisory, or product risk-assessment experience
  • Understanding of digital-asset products, including trading, custody, payments, staking, lending, wallets, and DeFi
  • Working knowledge of licensing, AML/CFT, sanctions, KYC, consumer protection, financial promotions, and market-conduct requirements
  • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into product requirements and controls
  • Experience leveraging AI-enabled technology for risk assessments
  • Project-management, stakeholder-management, written, and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Conduct compliance reviews of new products, features, market expansions, and material product changes
  • Review product requirements, technical documentation, user journeys, onboarding flows, transaction mechanics, disclosures, and operational processes
  • Conduct and document product compliance risk assessments
  • Produce compliance recommendations, mitigations, approval routes, and escalation recommendations
  • Develop scalable compliance solutions with Product, Engineering, Legal, Risk, and Compliance teams
  • Maintain documentation and audit trails for product reviews, decisions, conditions, exceptions, approvals, and changes
  • Support post-launch monitoring, control testing, assurance, and remediation
  • Deliver compliance framework guidance and targeted training
  • Support priority product launches and special projects
