About the Role

You will play a key role in supporting the business by assisting in planning, designing, implementing and communicating compensation policies and practices. You will participate in compensation surveys, collect compensation data and lead the analysis of survey results to ensure pay competitiveness against the market. You will support annual compensation cycles covering merit, bonus and long-term incentive equity processes, verify populations, work with HR and managers on performance ratings, and analyze distribution and year-end spend. You will help develop compensation program communications for management and employees, collaborate with Compensation Partners, HR Managers and Talent Acquisition on internal equity analysis and new hire offers, review statutory requirements to ensure compliance with laws and regulations such as SOX, conduct job analysis and review position descriptions for FLSA classifications, lead compensation-related projects, prepare ad hoc analysis for special studies and leadership requests, and help mentor and guide less experienced Compensation Analysts.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in compensation preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field preferred
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis and auditing (SOX compliance requirements)
  • Exposure to data analysis programming languages such as SQL, Python, VBA and Tableau preferred
  • Workday and HRIS system configuration experience strongly preferred
  • Exposure to and curiosity for Artificial Intelligence tools such as Claude, ChatGPT and Co-Pilot
  • Results oriented with natural curiosity to solve problems and come up with actionable solutions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a lot of ambiguity
  • Continuous improvement focus with ability to deconstruct processes and implement changes using Artificial Intelligence tools
  • Strong attention to detail and an analytical bent
  • Ability to consolidate and work with large volumes of data
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • CCP course completion or similar certification preferred
  • Interest in Fantasy Sports and/or Sports Gaming preferred

Responsibilities

  • Participate in compensation surveys by collecting compensation data and lead analysis of survey results to ensure pay competitiveness versus the market
  • Support annual Compensation Cycles including Merit, Bonus and Long Term Incentive equity processes
  • Assist in population verification and work with HR and managers to ensure performance ratings completion
  • Analyze distribution and year-end spend and budgeting
  • Aid in the development of compensation program communications to management and employees
  • Collaborate with Compensation Partners, HR Managers and Talent Acquisition on internal equity analysis and new hire offers
  • Review existing and proposed statutory requirements governing compensation administration to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
  • Conduct job analysis and review position descriptions for FLSA and other job classifications
  • Lead various compensation related projects as needed
  • Prepare ad hoc analysis for special studies, legal and leadership requests
  • Help mentor and guide less experienced Compensation Analysts
