About the Role

You will build and operate compensation programs and processes. You will develop salary ranges and market benchmarks, advise on offers and pay decisions, run compensation reviews, model proposed program changes, identify pay inconsistencies, and maintain reliable compensation data and tools.

Requirements

• Experience building or substantially rebuilding compensation frameworks and processes
• Experience with market pricing, salary ranges, cash and equity programs, compensation reviews, and individual pay recommendations
• Ability to build and audit models and reconcile imperfect data
• Ability to influence leadership decisions and explain trade-offs
• Ability to manage urgent requests while building longer-term processes
• Discretion with sensitive information
• Clear communication skills

Responsibilities

• Build the compensation foundation and develop compensation philosophy, market positioning, and cash and equity guidelines
• Develop salary ranges and market benchmarks across functions and locations
• Own compensation decisions for offers, promotions, pay adjustments, and compensation questions
• Design and run compensation reviews
• Model the cost and employee impact of salary and equity program changes
• Assess pay compression and potential inequities and recommend actions
• Create compensation decision records and guidance for recruiters and managers
• Maintain compensation records, benchmarking resources, reporting, and quality checks
