Aptos Labs is a team of researchers, strategists, designers, and builders focused on bringing decentralization to the masses through the Aptos blockchain, the first Move-based Layer 1 which launched its mainnet in October 2022. About the Role
You will lead local growth in Korea by building and activating trader communities, serving as the primary contact for Korean traders and ecosystem builders, and running online and offline programs. You will identify and engage high-value traders and KOLs, plan events and trading competitions, gather community feedback for product teams, localize campaigns, and develop long-term relationships that deepen engagement with onchain trading products.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in community management, ecosystem development, or trader relations in web3
- Active participant or power user in crypto trading communities with exposure to derivatives, perpetuals, and onchain trading products
- Established network within the Korean crypto trading ecosystem or connections to KOLs and trading groups
- Deep familiarity with the Korean web3 landscape and local trader acquisition dynamics
- Hands-on experience running community-facing events such as AMAs, trading competitions, workshops, or regional meetups
- Sharp communication skills in both Korean and English
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment across multiple workstreams
- Willingness to travel within Korea and the broader region as needed
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Korean traders, ecosystem builders, and community members
- Build, activate, and grow local trading communities through online channels and offline events
- Identify and engage high-value traders, KOLs, and trading communities and convert them into active users and advocates
- Plan and execute local events, meetups, AMAs, and trading competitions to drive user acquisition and engagement
- Connect ecosystem builders and projects with technical resources, funding opportunities, and co-marketing support
- Gather and synthesize trading community feedback and sentiment and share structured insights with product, engineering, and marketing teams
- Collaborate with community and marketing teams to localize campaigns, content, and programs for the Korean market
- Develop long-term relationships with traders, founders, developer communities, and industry partners
