About the Role

You will provide practical legal, regulatory, and compliance advice across a range of commercial activities. You will draft, negotiate, and manage services, SaaS, sponsorship, grant, consultancy, and partnership agreements. You will conduct legal due diligence, assist with KYC and sanctions checks, and support onboarding and compliance processes. You will advise on structuring and launching projects, protocols, products, and services, and design scalable legal processes, playbooks, and templates to enable efficient execution while mitigating risk. You will support senior attorneys on complex transactions and present clear, business-focused legal recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • At least four years of relevant law firm or in-house experience in transactional, commercial, and corporate law
  • Experience advising teams on dynamic, complex legal issues
  • Ability to scope and conduct legal due diligence and compliance checks
  • Strong problem-solving, judgment, written and oral communication skills
  • Autonomy to identify and assess risk and provide tailored mitigation advice
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage diverse stakeholders and time-sensitive projects
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic industry
  • J.D. and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar; must be U.S.-based

Responsibilities

  • Draft, negotiate, and manage commercial agreements
  • Provide legal and compliance advice across the organization
  • Support senior attorneys on commercial deals and investments
  • Scope and conduct legal due diligence of transactions and counterparties
  • Assist with KYC, sanctions checks, and legal onboarding
  • Design and execute legal and compliance requirements for funding programs
  • Advise on legal aspects of new blockchain and fintech initiatives
  • Develop scalable operational processes, playbooks, and templates
