About the Role
You will define and evolve cloud network standards, patterns, and processes across Azure, AWS, and GCP. You will lead connectivity strategy, embed network requirements in new systems, deploy infrastructure and tooling, evaluate emerging technologies, integrate automation and telemetry, and ensure hybrid and multi-cloud designs are secure, scalable, and resilient.
Requirements
- Extensive experience designing and deploying cloud network infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Ability to lead cloud network transformation initiatives and build relationships across business and technical teams.
- Experience gathering requirements and translating them into scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud network solutions.
- Communication skills to influence stakeholders and articulate technical concepts clearly.
- Expertise in Azure Virtual WAN, Private Link, ExpressRoute, and Route Server.
- Expertise in AWS Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and VPC peering.
- Expertise in GCP VPCs, Cloud Interconnect, and Shared VPC.
- Expertise in BGP, OSPF, EVPN, traffic engineering, SD-WAN, SASE, VXLAN, NSX-T, FortiGate, Fortinet SD-WAN, Megaport, Equinix Fabric Edge, F5, Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD, observability, telemetry, and zero-trust network design.
Responsibilities
- Define and evolve cloud network architecture standards, patterns, and processes across Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Lead cloud connectivity strategy, including B2B private interconnects.
- Embed cloud network requirements in new systems and applications.
- Trial and deploy infrastructure and tooling with Cloud and Network Engineering teams.
- Evaluate emerging cloud networking technologies and recommend adoption strategies.
- Align cloud network architecture with infrastructure, security, identity, and application strategies.
- Support automation, observability, and telemetry integration across cloud platforms.
- Ensure designs meet performance, scalability, and security requirements across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
