About the Role

You will build and operate the cloud foundation that supports secure, scalable self-service infrastructure. You will own infrastructure-as-code workflows, cloud accounts and access controls, network foundations, governance automation, and reliable operational practices.

Requirements

• 6+ years of cloud infrastructure, cloud platform, cloud security engineering, or related experience
• AWS multi-account organization, IAM, permission boundary, SCP, and resource organization experience
• Terraform, modules, state management, and automated plan and apply workflow expertise
• Cloud networking knowledge including VPCs, transit and hybrid connectivity, DNS, and edge or CDN configuration
• Go or Python automation development experience
• Experience using and validating AI tool output

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the Terraform and Atlantis infrastructure-as-code execution platform
• Design and operate cloud account, access, IAM, and permission models
• Own VPC, Transit Gateway, and DNS foundations
• Drive AWS governance, tagging standards, compliance guardrails, and cost accountability
• Implement least-privilege access controls and self-service compliance automation
• Help define the new team’s scope, priorities, and service boundaries
• Participate in on-call rotation and maintain reliable, documented, observable systems
